Todays ride was a really cool one. I left Shannon's new house in her new neighborhood, without any real idea of where I was going. I just followed one road for about 25 miles out, only to get a faint idea of my bearings by the local United States Postal offices with the town name printed on the sign. Every other office I would pass I would recognize the name but by no means knew my coordinates. On the way out I found my self going up hills at 20+ mph and loving every bit of it. I ended up in Bentonville, world headquarters of your local Wal-Mart. The second I turned around to come back home the head wind punched me in the face and I was struggling to hold a solid pace down the hills I could easily glide up just earlier. The rain set in for the final hour of the ride so I just stuck my head down and hammered it out totally Euro style. I love riding bikes.

I am in Fayetteville, AR for my annual five day stint of surprising old friends and staying with Shannon before heading to Durango for school. I managed to find the coolest gas station ever, I was surprised to find no memorabilia store inside with shirts or coffee mugs for sale.

I am looking for some rides to do up here until Thursday, shoot me an email if you are around and can hook up before then.

Ryan Fiddler is the man!
