I bought these within 10 feet of stepping out of the car when we made it to our final destination, Wapakoneta, Ohio. At $5, brand new, well 1986 model but never worn, they are one more reason to try and make it onto the podium.

The first crit was last night of this 6 day, Tour of Ohio. It was 68 laps of a 1 kilometer course with eight 90 degree turns. Add to this the 127 person, Pro 1-2-3 field, and all types of riders, it was chaos. Oh, and the start/finish line was only half the road with metal barriers on each side. There were lots of crashes and rubbing elbows but I and the rest of the Mercy Cycling Team made it to the finish, although Bam Bam crashed on the first sprint points lap but got back in.
