Conference Finals: Grand Junction, CO
Mesa State held conference finals this year. We went with our man Jordan in first place overall, but only a few points ahead of Kiel from CU Boulder. Jordan had to finish at least one spot in front of Kiel each day to win the series. The road race saturday was rough, to say the least. We had seven men and six flat tires. We found thumb tacks in many of wheels. I felt super flat and had nothing. After chasing back on the field for 6 miles with mountain bike buddy Colin Cares, my team mate, Asaf flatted and I stopped and we switched front wheels. I rode the flat in with Cody, who also gave Asaf a wheel 10 minutes earlier but he flatted that one too. I tanned in the feed zone and watched 8 year old Garrett bury a scorpion, no joke. Meanwhile Durka Durka Stan was our top finisher with Jordan just behind him.

While the girls did this, and won!........
 ......Ian and I did this. We were to beat to do the TTT later that same day. Yes, all I had to wear were my bike shorts. At least I felt like Micheal Phelps while in the waterin hole.

The crit went better, Ian and I both felt 100% better and did a lot of work, along with Asaf, Jordan and Wes. Cody and Durka Durka both flated, poop. In the end Keil won the overall, congratulations to him and everyone one an awesome season.

Next up, Tour of the Gila and Collegiate Nationals. (A.K.A. get whipped into shape fast)
