This past weekend were the cyclo-cross National Championships in Providence, RI where the top men, women, and collegiate nuckle heads battled it out for another patriotic jersey. I don't have a full report but it sounds like Lees-McRae College came into town a woompin and a stompin. Although our Fort Lewis men had a very high overall ranking the Lees-McWomen did too and that was enough to get them an overall Collegiate National Championship, congratulations. Our team (Fort Lewis) got second overall with Joey Thompson and Troy Wells in 2nd and 3rd respectively. Our fine ladies did well too and Teal pulled of a 5th place, not bad for the first year on a racing bicycle.
Ryan Trebon won the mens Elite race followed by Jonathon Page, Tim Johnson and Todd Wells.
