Tuesday Night Worlds. Seriously.

In what other city do describe your Tuesday night race finish as First American? Well that's how we roll here in Durango. A few days ago we did our weekly short track race, on the course we will use this weekend for the Fort Lewis Squawker Classic MTB Race. From the gun, Ben (Germany) was off the front with Trevor and my self in 2nd and 3rd. A few minutes later I passed Trevor, but then I was overcome by Rotem (Israel) as I snagged my head on a tree and cracked my helmet. I held that spot until the end of the race and finished 3rd; first American! Ben slipped up on the final lap and was passed by Rotem for the W.

  1. Rotem Ishai (Israel)
  2. Ben Sonntag (Germany)
  3. Noah Singer (USA)
  4. Dustin Wanstrath (USA, I think)
Like I mentioned, our home race is this weekend so I am stoaked on no traveling. It looks like rain will try and ruin the show on Sunday (XC), hopefully we will get to race at least the short track. Last year I wont that event, but we also weren't out-sourcing riders then. Crap.
