The Carbon Cruiser
After living in Durango for over four years, it's about time I made a dedicated townie bike. The body is a full carbon Argon 18 Krypton, courtesy of Jesse DeKrey. I turned it into a singlespeed, using the only true townie way, a third chainring to pick up the slack. Durango Cyclery provided the sweeping handlebars and Stalker at Hassle Free Sports hooked it up with the Bontrager Cranks. I stole the rear wheel from Troy Wells, crap I guess he knows now. My roommates Schmidty and Dylan supplied the stoppers, pedals and front wheel. I guess this truely is a "town bicycle, everybody gets a ride".
The whole package comes in just over the UCI weigth limit, not bad for a grocery getter.
