Happy Birthday Shannon!
(My girlfriend that is, the puppy is Ryder)

Shannon is the big 23 today. I was lucky enough to make it to Little Rock last weekend for lots of big events. My flight landed just 40 minutes before the closing on our first house, so it was straight to the title company. Then Shannon her mom and I went straight to our new casa. Thanks to my mom, dad, Patty and Ed Watford for giving us such tremendous help over the weekend, not to mention the entire process. I will post pictures of the house once we finish the slight renovations, it should only be a few weeks.

On Saturday we drove out to pick up our 9 week old black lab, Ryder. He has lived his entire life exclusivley outdoors up till now, so he only potty's out there. That's good news for us. He will sleep 12 hours a day inside, but the second he gets in the grass its all play.

I am now back in Durango playing catch up at school after missing a month straight of weekends. The pattern continues this weekend where I will make my 2008 debut to Collegiate MTB season at the race held by CU Boulder. It's just four weeks until Nationals and as always we are all competiting against each other just to make the Nationals Team. FLC Cycling also just hired a new coach, the famous Ruthie Matthes. She was the XC World Champion in 1991 and raced the 2000 Sydney Olympics, among her many other great acheivements.
