Happy Birthday mom!
We finished up the Fitchburg Classic with Adrian in 31st overall. We rode our butts off and he was the strongest on the team by far. Marcus the Germanator had a great ride last night getting in a break with one lap to go, but was then caught by the pack just before the finish. John Murphy (HealthNet) won the $1,500 lap and the final. I finished the crit was my main goal after having terribly tired legs after the previous three days, but we were all in the same boat. Just to help put into perspective the style of crit racing here; our local crits are 40 minutes long, about 17 miles and with 25 riders. The crit here was 2 hours long, 55 miles, and 129 riders, all are Pro/cat 1.I just talked to my mom, she is doing her annual birthday ride down at the river, clocking in her age in miles. Awesome work momma!
