I'm such a baby that I'm on Pedialyte for electrolyte recovery after 300 miles in three days and nasal spray with Shannon's secret potion for allergies.
Friday went much better than the previous day. We climbed Petit Jean mountain twice, each side, before hitting Mt. Nebo at mile 95. Its said to be the steepest finish in America with majority of the 3 mile ascent at 18%. I finished 24th, 10 places better than last year.
No official results yet for todays stage but I think I finished just inside 25th after the 10 mile climb to the top of Mt. Magazine.
Tomorrow is the crit, it was my breaking point last week at Joe Martin, let's hope for something better this time. Hosevsr I will admit I left everything on the table today heading up Magazine.
