I'm back in Little Rock and loving every second of it. I dove right back into work at Competitive Cyclist and have been training every minute I am not there. I'm focusing on nothing but climbing for the next few weeks in preparation for the Mt. Gaylor Hill climb, Tour of the Gila, Joe Martin, and the Tour of Arkansas all in four consecutive weeks.

In more important and life changing news, I am moving to Los Angeles around the first of June. The advantage of living there has nothing to do with waiting tables and trying to become the next Will Smith, but racing my bike. My team, Kahala/LaGrange is based there so I will be able to live, train, travel and race with the team. I will be there until late August when I drive to Durango to finish up my final semester and hopefully they will give me that dang'd 'ole diploma. On the other hand, I had planned on spending the summer in Little Rock with Shannon and my family, so it has been pretty tough now that things are not going exactly as planned. We all realized I have been working my ass off for the past seven years to reach my goal as a Pro cyclist and this is no doubt a huge step in catching the eye of team managers, while also getting to train and race with my new team.

I am looking for a part time job while I'm out there; walking dogs, making iced mocha's latte's or having the next role in 007. Holler if you can help a brother out.

(My ride on the NLR side of the river a few days ago imposed a funny decision, train for a triathlon by swimming across or train for a cyclo-cross race by running the trail next to by bike path. I opted for the cyclo-cross, I'm not a Tri-Geek.)

(Afterwards Sadie and I romping around at the dog park)
