Finding peanut butter in France is like find a five year wedding anniversary in Hollywood. When I got home today I was ecstatic to find two American sized crunchy peanut butter jars and coconut from my awesome momma, thank so much. I guess I never realized my lust for the goopy goodness until it was no longer around.
My training is going well, with temps in the high 50's and pure sunshine for the last few days I think the seasons are changing. I have begun my time trial efforts and hope to use that has a base for my races when I get back stateside.
The other day I managed to get in an hour long climb, though not like you would expect. Because of the lack of elevation change I dive into the headwinds and push a hard gear to simulate climbing, on Tuesday I felt like I was on Baldwin Street when I got more than I bargained for. The crosswinds were so strong that my left cheek was literally hitting my tongue.
Shannon flys out here on Tuesday and soon after that we are heading to Paris for the weekend. I can't wait till she gets here.
Thanks for reading.
