While I have been in France it doesn't mean I'm the only one having fun, my mom is at the Tour of California this week with Specialized and team Quick-Step. Below is a picture of her in the middle of the highly intelligent team that invented the AquaDuct water transportation/purification bike. She gave me the live report yesterday as she sat on the course of the opening prolouge that Fabian Cancellara went on to win. More picture of all that to come, for the most up to date keep dibs on cyclingnews.com.

News from France: Our final day of classes are Tuesday then we begin our 20 day springbreak. I will be traveling to Venice, Florence and Rome, Italy before hopping over to Barcelona and San Sebastian, Spain for the final five days. If the plans go smoothly we will be dropping by Slovenia for a few days somewhere in there as well.

The riding has been going well here, however I am quit ready for a training partner. My buddy Scott arrives in Tolouse in a few weeks so it will be nice to hammer with someone besides The Red Hot Chili Peppers jamming in my earbud. After my four-hour ride on Sunday I had a ringing sensation in my right ear for the remainder of the evening, lovely.
