I hate calling in sick, work rocks...

So now that I have to ride with a total elevation gain of 1 meter per ride I have found other ways to make the most of these flat rides. One I think about the time trials I will be doing this year, mostly flat and pedal to the metal. I have also come up with an entirely new technique, Motor Pulling. If you'r familiar with bike racing you know "motor pacing" is riding in the draft of a scooter, motorcycle or car allowing you to ride at up to 40mph all day long. They block the wind and give you a psychological advantage. Well I have invented Motor Pulling, we switch roles and I do the pulling for the scooter that has a max speed of about 23mph. I was able to motor pull the last three miles of my ride home, while a kid on a scooter stayed in the ducked position between 30 and 100 meters back the entire time, it was awesome. Once we got into city limits I gained a slight advantage each time we hit a roundabout, while he had to slow down. At the end he waved goodbye and I was happy for a good workout of the day, steady at about 27mph.

Check out my latest photo's below, including my GPS used for each ride.
