(Noah suffereing)

This morning was the final race to determine team selection for Cross Nationals in Kansas City, MO. The entire night before consisted of steady rain with temps in the high 30's. When I woke up, nothing had changed. Eighteen men showed up despite the conditions and we raced about 45 minutes in the muck and freezing temps. Here are the final results, not showing the DNFs.

1. Ben Sonntag
2. Tad Elliot
3. Robin Gullaume
4. Greg Lewis
5. Noah Singer
6. Jesse Dekrey
7. Zach Shriver
8. Miles Venzara
9. David Timmons
10. Whitney Jones
11. Joe Burtoni
12. Art Nelson
13. Alister Radcliff
14. Jay Curnow
15. Dustin Wanstrath
16. Miguel Ramos

Jesse, Zach and I battled it out the last lap for a full on race simulation. Ben won while Tad was just behind in second and Olympian Travis Brown was third. Travis is not on the results because he raced masters. I feel confident that I have qualified for Nationals but won't know for sure until Monday. Thanks to Colin Osborn for cheering and taking all these pictures, also thanks to water boy Chris Lane for my feed.

(Ben took a whammy but that got his adrenaline going to take the "W")

Now for a weekend of studying to prep for finals week.
