so, non-bikers learn that the larger world has lost a champion and inspiration
and the smaller world of an unborn child and a loving wife have lost the
breath of a fine man.
me, a stranger, reads this and recognizes that a light has been lost. even though
it is a light i did not know personally. i value the inspiration and endurance this
man brought to the game.
and my thoughts go to the woman who has a road of endurance before her
of a different sort: and i hope that all the champions of this field remember
her and support her on her long road.
