Ben's surgery went ok and he is doing fine. He now has an aluminum plate in his neck between his C5 and C6 vertebrae and will be back in Durango soon to recover.
This morning our team trailer left, piloted by Rick Crawford for the 24 hour trip to Banner Elk, North Carolina. I fly out Wednesday morning with the rest of the team. My first race is the cross country on Friday, then Saturday is the short track. Other events include the Downhill on Saturday and the mountain cross on Sunday to wrap it up. The teams main objective is to defend our overall Division One national title we got last year, and to win as many individual events as we can. All of our team are stacked with grade A beef, I meant talent so we just need luck on our side now. My mom, dad, and girlfriend Shannon are driving out and we will meet up Thursday.
Wish us luck, updates and pictures to come shortly.
