Wednesday was the first of the Burns Park crit series. We started with a shop ride to the course, crossing the Poopinberg. It's to bad Alex's extreme power got the best of him and he broke his chain before the first corner. After Bam Bam snagged the first preme the race was on. I got in a break with Drew, Ernie and Ben. We stayed away for the entire race, then Drew and I began attacking the break and mine finally stuck. I rode the final 15 minutes solo and came in for the win, while Drew got second, nicely done. Bam held it down in the pack and Brendan got away towards the end and held that. I owe the win to the over the top high argile socks I got at Old Navy last night. Thanks for reading.
